This is a fantastic example of a WWII Canadian Armed Forces emergency ration, processed by William Clark Limited of Montreal, Canada. The ration tin is still sealed quite well with the key still firmly attached to the bottom. Emergency rations were to be carried in the soldier's haversack, and eaten "only on the order of an officer." It usually consisted of a can of "bully" (corned) beef and some biscuits though this
