Description

This one belonged James Gifford and dates to 1804

and I like them even better

The colors are a bit brighter than in photos - the light green in pretty electric

there is light wear to the surface of the chalkboard but it is in very good condition overall and ready to put chalk to

features a faint depiction of a Japanese woman (though her jet black hair is quite pronounced) against a mountainous landscape

Old Brass Weathervane Pointing Arrow old drawing This one belonged James GiffordI assume this wonderful aerodynamic looking brass arrow was the topper on a weathervane; it looks 1940s or so to me, with the center portion reminding me of the profile of a streamlined car or rocket ship! With a great patina, I'd just hang it from a little nail or two on the wall, perhaps pointing down the hallway, or toward the coffee pot! 15 1 8" l x 2 3 4" t x 1 16" thick. Plenty of light scratching and some dark spots, all to the good I think.
