Finely Dressed Woman with Black Lace and Blue Ribbons, Ultra Sharp and Also Otherworldly Feeling Early Tintype sketches face sketches This small watercolor is signedThere are tintype portraits and then there are tintype portraits, and what a moody stunner this one. Ultra sharp, with every detail on her lace gloves and veil and every flower on her bonnet richly captured, such that she feels completely right there in front of us. (Though she also has a bit of the feeling of living in the spirit world to me!) With the wide ribbon of her bonnet hand tinted a light blue that really pops, and some subtler color on her
