While I purchased it in Massachusetts

and is ready to be used for a puppet show

with a reddish stain

1930s-40s I believe

Pretty Arts and Crafts Soft Green Glazed Art Pottery Vase embroidered figure in traditional costume with black ink (I thinkI can't pass by a nice Arts and Craft vase, and this is a lovely one. I've looked and looked and have not found another with the same form, so I'm not sure of the maker, but I'm pretty sure earlyish 20th century American. Possibly Zanesville, which I always gravitate to! One of the things I love about this green glaze is that it is gorgeous in combination with anything, and looking at it now makes me look forward to the first daffodils of spring.
