but what I love most is the bright red of this Dutch couple's lips

and the same ilk of silver painted metal sign as the one at right

and it appears that there was once a sticker on the bottom

What is interesting to me about it is how the quality of the image to begin with combined with its aging over time make it feel very close to to a cut paper silhouette

Old Shot Up "Ticonderoga Office" Sign vintage Native American pottery but what I love mostAs the site of famous battles during the French and Indian, and American Revolutionary wars, it seemed apt to find this Ticonderoga sign shot through with quite a flurry of bullet holes. I'm not sure what sort of office the sign was associated with, but did look up the number, which (with a 518 area code) appears still to be in use, associated now with a residential address on Defiance Street (which seems perfectly right!) Located in the Adirondacks
