with a pretty amazing line drawing with numbers that I guess once corresponded to a key detailing the various bugs

How to resist these tiny tiny dogs? Or that tiny yellow bird atop its tiny tree? I could not. The scale of it makes me think of love tokens and early handmade rewards of merit, and indeed this is stitched to a paper backing, which looks to me to bear simply the word "Dear" in ink.
