it was used to protect the cans from rust and moisture

Heavy steel chest (21"x10"x41 2") containing two in letted Wood Trays designed to accommodate NINE different Ordnance Tools, (approx. 50% present). Illustrated contents layout, in German, on underside of Chest lid. Complete with carrying handles and steel nomenclature plate. Exterior showing wear and some rust, interior very good excellent.
