This model rifle, like most of the famous Mauser rifles, was designed by Paul Mauser himself, and is chambered in 757mm Mauser. While almost always referred to as the "Spanish Mauser", this design was also marketed to various other governments worldwide. This example was manufactured by Ludwig Loewe of Berlin, and
