I was thinking it would be THE perfect thing for displaying a beautiful collection of old stone fruit

some nice greening to the legs in spots

There is some scratching to the plate and the outline of this gentleman's profile almost disappears

and to the features of the face especially

6" t x 4 1/2" w closed and in very good condition

It was a treat for me to find it now, including for the fact that I find lemons the loveliest and most cheerful of all fruits, like pure sunshine on the outside, counterpointed wit a perfect twist of tartness! 5 5 8" x 3 5 8". Oil on canvas, c. 1920s I believe based on the Franklin stamp. Cracks
