with the angles of raised with snout and tail mirroring each other

making it quite solid

enabling the carriage of much greater weight

The unstretched canvas shows some wear, which in this case feels to me exactly right, and I'd be included to hang it on the wall from a couple of pins to the top corners, just as it is. 11 3 4" x 8 1 8. Late 19th early 20th century I
