The silvered top mount bearing the regimental device of the Queen's Own Yorkshire Dragoons under a "Kings Crown" dating this to 1901 to 1916. The crop is 26" in overall length. The Queen's Own Yorkshire Dragoons was a yeomanry regiment of the British Army in existence from 1794 to 1956. The regiment was formed as volunteer
