They're also nicely loosely painted and imperfect

Definitely it was done many years ago--in magic marker I believe--as the paper is pretty brittle

Early 1940s French School Drawings Notebook: Animals, Flowers, Houses, Extras lovely book with a heart shaped leafI purchased this one from a dealer in France, along with a second notebook dated 1941 42 and filled with cut and woven paper designs, which I sold a few weeks ago. I would guess this one, filled with graphite and crayon drawings, was done by the same student. Some real charmers in here I think, from the little animals each given its own page, to several sorts of flowers, to, my favorite, pictured first, a two page spread featuring fireplace with very
