C. 1850s Sixth Plate Daguerreotype of Two Sisters in Matching Dresses handmade corkscrew I am pretty sure this

I am pretty sure this one dates to  the 1950s or so

with some light age toning/spotting and overall wear

It's that time of year when a pocket flask seems most in order

4 5/8" l x 2 15/16" wide and deep

the other 2 1/4"

C. 1850s Sixth Plate Daguerreotype of Two Sisters in Matching Dresses handmade corkscrew I am pretty sure thisIts the striking graphicness of the checkered prints on the dresses of these two that really sold me, but their very stern faces most definitely make it all the better. I also like thatclearly instructed to fold their handsthey did so in different ways, the one on the right hiding her thumb. And, with their upper arms pressed right up against each other, it almost feels as if theyre joined like Siamese things which would explain their unhappy looks!
