This Tulwar dates from around 1800 and originates from our Nepalese Palace purchase of 2003 and has been carefully cleaned and is ready for display

They have however lost all of the original "Piano varnish" finish due to wear and cleaning

There is also an inspector cartouche by the lock screws

It was in that status when hostilities were declared at an end on 7 May 1945

The DAF (Deutsche Arbeitsfront or German Labor Front) was a National Socialist trade union that supplanted independent unions once the NSDAPs had come to power in Germany. This 47" x 55" Fringed Flag would have usually had a patch sewn in a corner indicating the location it was issued to, but there is none on this example, and it also shows no signs of ever being attached to a pole. It looks to have never been issued
