but here it is especially the series of pages of paper squares folded into shapes and labeled as representative of objects--a duck (distinguished from the bird or chicken next to it just by one tiny fold)  a picture frame

when hard-shelled electric miner's cap lamps began to replace canvas caps with brackets to which oil lamps attached

the dog faces abuse from people in town

Vintage c. 1970 Fornasetti Conchiglie (Seashell) Plate ceramic flower frog and made of ironstone withA happy surprise to find this one at a shop in coastal New Hampshire the other day where I don't often find much and it was a bit hidden in a far corner, not identified as Fornasetti by the dealer. But Fornasetti it is, stamped on reverse and signed, too one of a set of "Conchiglie" dinner plates Fornasetti produced in the late 1960s early 1970s (there's a set of six on 1st dibs for $1650.) With sprawling starfish at center, and a mussel (complete
