There is some wear through on the tip area near the end of the fuller from wear due to the scabbard runner
The front and rear visors are loose and slightly misshapen with stitching loss but are still present
now showing a lightly oxidized patina on the exterior
The other possibility is of course to India which Britain had taken over the governance of from the Royal East India Company from in 1859 after the Sepoy Rebellion
