Original British WWII Air Ministry Marked R.A.F. Stopwatch for Bombing Raids over Germany - dated 1943 IMA Merchandise / Cieski / LOriginal Item: Only One Available. In full working order, this is an R. A. F. Stopwatch, of the type that was used on bombing raids over Germany during WWII. The face is marked: SMITHS 1 100 TH. MIN. MADE IN ENGLAND The casing looks to be nickel or chrome plated and the watch is somewhat interesting in that it divides the minute into 100ths, and not into seconds. This most likely made calculations faster using the stop watch, as they did not have to
