The cup was made by Wileman and Shelley in Staffordshire

with some wear around the wings and some scuffs her and there

The spool holding the string rotates on the handle in order for the string to be unwound and stretched taut, and it could certainly be put to use once again, though I'd be very content to treat it like a sculpture and just set it somewhere to be admired. 8 3 8" l x 1 1 2"
