This looks very Germanic, but then again may have been made by a German Immigrant here in the United States circa 1840. This has a very nice "Continental" style stock, with a very comfortable checkered grip, with a swell at the bottom. The Octagonal barrel measures 7 1 2", and is fitted with relatively standard notch and blade sights. The barrel is spiral "Damascus" laminated steel, and the bore measures about . 50",
