Original U.S. Vietnam Era M1961 USMC Ammunition Pouch Hand Select:No Purchased in a Government bidOriginal Item: The basic design of the United States Marine Corps cotton M1961 ammunition pocket, which accommodated a single 20 round magazine for the M14 rifle, remained constant throughout the Vietnam War, though the pouch and flap were lengthened slightly in late 1964. The loop on the back of the pouch contained two male press studs, either one of which could be used to attach it to the M1961 cartridge belt. The lower press stud was used when the
