I really don't know anything about this one

but it certainly seems to have a good amount of age

which is a bit hard to read but it looks to me that the first name was Charles

I just thought the hinged design was brilliant

This one I believe would be referred to as an "occupational" painting

Three Sweet Old Yellow Garden Chicks antique school crayins I really don't know anythingJust charmers, better in hand, with those little painted wings and striped points really making them. Surely made to be stuck into the ground to inhabit the garden or dot the path to the chicken coop! Hand painted wood, c. 1920s 30s I would guess. Each approx 5 1 2" w x 5 1 8" t measured on the square. All in good condition, painted on both sides.
