This is a lovely service used 1st Model Luftwaffe Dagger made in in the late 1930s, made by the well known Solingen based firm of Ernst Pack & Shne under their "Siegfried" brand name. It has the earliest pattern fittings on the blade and steel scabbard, which nickel and aluminum alloys, which were both plated and then coated with a type of blue oxide finish.
