The Order of the Patriotic War is a Soviet military decoration that was awarded to all soldiers in the Soviet armed forces, security troops, and to partisans for heroic deeds in the Eastern Front of World War II, known as the Great Patriotic War in the USSR and some post Soviet states. This is a gorgeous example of a 2nd Class of the Order, which still retains its screw on backing. It is engraved with serial number
