This 1885 dated ENFIELD IC1 carbine comes with an original heavy leather saddle scabbard complete with two rusted hanging buckles and wrap around securing strap
There are also some stress cracks along the grain
The USMC reversible camouflage cover is original and in very good condition
as well as 3 inches below
which has just the tiniest bend on the very end of the blade

This is an excellent and clearly stamped dog tag, with translation stating that this soldier was a part of the 135th Independent Mixed Brigade Artillery Force, 3rd Battalion, [soldier] No. 39. Imperial Japanese Army dog tags were first introduced on 22 June, 1894 by Army Ordinance No. 63 as Specifications and Issuing Procedures for ID tags, immediately before the Sino Japanese War, which broke out only a month later.
