This base still retains 2 of the brass stars and two domed ones

where it remained until the spring of 1941

and the polish on the blade is worn bright

The crown is embossed in silver Zimmermann Meorlot TOUL

This is a very good example of a genuine Canadian Manufactured Mark II steel helmet, dated 1941 on the shell, complete with chinstrap, and a Canadian Issue Brown Helmet Net. It comes with the correct dark OD green satin paint used on Canadian helmets, which has only some light wear on the stainless steel rim. We cannot find a manufacturers stamp on the liner. The shell is overall in great shape with no major issues.
