Just purchased at a recent military auction! Here is an octagonal barreled very upmarket "Kentucky" style flintlock target rifle, which more correctly is known as a Pennsylvania Rifle. It is in the quite large caliber of about . 55", and has a massive very heavy octagonal barrel with seven groove rifling. The barrel is 40 1 2" inches long, and 1 1 4" inches across at the widest point. It also is quite heavily
