This is a very nice steel construction black (3rd Class) wound badge, complete with its original Besitzzeugnis "possession award" certificate! The award document indicates that it was awarded to Grenadier Hans Tiebel of 5. Pz. Gren. Regt. 63 (5th Company of Panzer Grenadier Regiment 63). This is a rank equivalent to a U. S. Army Private. It was awarded on 2. April 1943 for a single injury sustained on 11. 1. 1943. ;
