The dealer I purchased this from told me that when she purchased it many years ago there were remnants of an old wire connecting the pig to plough; but really, what a burden for this sweet pig, I think better he's been liberated! It also seems that perhaps theirs was an old "make do" marriage the pig is quite old, but the plough seems ancient! Happily the pig balances well on its nail legs standing atop the plough now, a
