I would guess it dates from the 1960s or early 70s

with his great elongated body seeming poised and ready to take off swimming

is super striking and it reminds me a lot of the enamelware of Catherine Holm

The surface of the blonde wood shows some wear, giving this brush a nice warm patina. Lovely! The brush measures 11 3 8" long with a diameter of 2 3 4".
