Now this is a fantastic example of an extremely hard to find Tschapka! This is in good, near complete condition. This example comes with its original National & State cockades as well as the original chinstrap, which is almost never still present on these helmets. This example is missing its liner. The Ulanen (Lancers) Tschapka (chapka) with its distinctive square top first appeared in 1808 when Preuen introduced
