The grapes are from the Tufford vineyard at the base of the Niagara Escarpment where a lot of the receding glaciers left big granite boulders

occasionally rustic character backed by rugged

but Pinot Gris was chosen almost as a sort of frost protection

Aged for six months in 2/3 stainless steel and the rest in neutral French barriques
