1883 Japanese Fabric Design Orihon Chromolithograph - ORIGINAL OJ1 ADLB6 The International Nickel CompanyThis is an original 1883 chromolithograph with two lovely examples of Japanese fabric designs of silk and gold. The design on the left is from the cover or binding of an orihon, or folded book, and consists of birds and flowers in a geometrical pattern. The fabric pattern on the right consists of flowers, leaves, and dragons arranged in horizontal rows. These fabulous designs are printed throughout with gold ink which, unfortunately, does not show up
