The flowers create an amazing fluffy appearance for up to two months. Mature plants look like they are covered in a multi colored cloud of smoke. Deciduous leaves turn golden yellow, orange and scarlet red in autumn. Tolerant of a wide range of soils, autumn color is richer in acid soils. Zones 6 8.
