One was specially presented to Rangers by the Stoke city Chairman Sir Francis Joseph, establishing the tradition of toasting the reigning monarch at the first match of the new year. Rangers renews the tradition in full, with the cup filled with Whisky, a rendition of the national anthem and the loyal toast. Decades later, this remains
