Brassy Tuareg Ring with Carnelian Stone shark teeth traded in EthiopiaHere we have an odd bird of a Tuareg hair ring. Unlike others it is made of brass with a weird looking carnelian stone. Definitely one of a kind! This ring is traditionally worn amongst the Tuareg tribe members in their hair, or on necklaces. The carnelian stone set in the ring is from Idar Oberstein, Germany; the silver setting is made in Tuareg. Over 50 years old, and quite rare. 32mm long x 15mm wide x 7mm thick.
