Vintage "Belmet Rollodor" Self-Righting Floor Ashtray candle stand Lamp arm: 25c. 1930s; Rollodor Manufacturing Co. Los Angeles, CA Patented self righting floor ashtray based on Edgar H. Barbs April 25, 1933 design (U. S. Patent No. 1,905,123). The weighted spherical base automatically returns the stand to an upright position when tipped, allowing the ashtray to roll and recover rather than fall over. This example features the original simulated woodgrain finish with bright chrome plated wheel rims, a cylindrical handle, and a
