Beacham DeKalb, IL A large oval wash basin with fitted lid, manufactured by Rochester and distributed through hardware merchant H. A. Beacham of DeKalb, Illinois. The piece features rolled edges, applied wooden side handles, and a domed top with a central turned wood grip. The form is reinforced with pressed bands and bears impressed maker's marks for both Rochester and Beacham.
